He was on the Esterwood busses when they broke down in Tartarus. He used the entirity of his upcoming birthday money to go on the trip; he had to convince his mother that's all he wanted and finally she agreed. Upon the busses breaking down in Tartarus, Redge was furious that the school had been so careless with the transport and had possibly cost him a birthday.
