In many ways, Adell falls into the stereotypical mould of a hero. Protective of those around him, almost without exception, Adell would be the type to sacrifice himself to save another. Of course, no-one is ever that easily defined, and not everything is well beneath that usually cheerful exterior. Even before he was thrust into this hell-hole, Adell's mind has never been as simple as he makes it out to be. Of course, he keeps most of that hidden beneath an armour of cheer and helpfulness, even now, but the stress of the situation he is now in will, almost certainly, wear that away, in time.

But he remains genuinely protective of others, particularly for those smaller and weaker than him. He isn't the best survivalist, but he is reasonably physically strong, and his work ethic should make him something of an asset.

Adell came here with a fairly tight circle of friends, but he won't make himself a stranger to anyone stranded here. In this situation, they can't afford to have factions or cliques; not that Adell really paid attention to those in high school, anyway. As long as on doesn't fulfill the criteria for being one of Adell's enemies, they can basically count him as a friend. Even in this hopeless-seeming situation, Adell is a closed book, in many ways; though the memories that are given shape here may reveal the very things he is trying to conceal.

It isn't easy to get here, but Adell is stubborn in this regard. If he counts you as someone to be cautious of, it's difficult to work yourself out of this category. Selfish, cynical, egotistical or power-hungry people will swiftly work themselves into this category. He tends to be resentful of those who refuse to do their own work, especially, and probably won't get along well with those who were raised with a silver spoon in their mouths. Old grudges die hard, even for Adell.
